MCAT Village
MCAT Village is a browser game for MCAT content review. It is not a question bank with a progress bar bolted on. Each topic is a place you walk into and do something physical with: sorting amino acids by property, wiring a circuit, steering blood through the chambers of a heart, stacking conversion factors until the units cancel.
It holds 113 playable stations across 7 subject districts, plus 6 mixed-topic boss gauntlets that pull from everything in their district at once.
Play the free districtMCAT Village was built by Chris, an operating room nurse in Austin, Texas, who was studying for the MCAT between shifts. The design constraint came straight from that: she did not have four uninterrupted hours to sit with a content review book, and she had not been in a science classroom in over a decade. So the content had to fit into the gaps, and it had to be something a tired person would actually open.
That is the reason the mechanics are spatial rather than verbal. A flashcard asks you to recognize an answer. Placing an organelle in the wrong compartment and watching the cargo fail to route asks you to know it.
| Most MCAT tools | MCAT Village |
|---|---|
| Multiple choice, then an explanation | You manipulate the thing directly, and the outcome shows you whether you were right |
| Progress is a percentage | Progress is a district that visibly comes back to life |
| Sessions are 60 minutes or nothing | Stations are built to be finished in a break between cases |
| Subscription that expires | One payment, permanent access |
The Glow Labs biochemistry district is free. No credit card, and no email required: you can play as a guest and your progress saves on the device. Biochemistry is the largest single content slice on the MCAT, so the free district is not a token sample.
Every other district unlocks with one payment of $99. It is not a subscription and it does not expire. Progress is never reset, including across updates.
The seven districts map onto MCAT content categories. The full station by station breakdown is on the districts page.
The World Hub also opens into three wings that cut across subjects: Passage Palace (CARS + Reasoning, 3 stations), Equation Row (Math + Units, 8 stations), The Research Bench (Research + Data, 5 stations).
Pricing, device support, whether it replaces a question bank, and what happens to your progress are answered on the FAQ page.
