MCAT Village is a browser based game for MCAT content review. It contains 113 playable stations across 7 subject districts covering biochemistry, biology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, psychology and sociology, and CARS. Instead of answering multiple choice questions, you interact with the content directly: sorting, building, wiring, routing and steering.
Partly. The Glow Labs district, which covers biochemistry, is free to play with no credit card and no email required. Every other district unlocks with a single payment of $99, which is permanent and is not a subscription.
$99, paid once, for permanent access to every district. There is no recurring fee and no expiry. The biochemistry district costs nothing.
No. You can play as a Guest Scholar with no email, and your progress saves on that device. Adding an email later keeps the progress backed up and lets you pick up on another device.
No, and it is not meant to. MCAT Village is a content review tool: it is for learning and retaining the material itself. Full length practice exams and official AAMC practice material serve a different purpose, which is calibration and timing under test conditions. Most people should use both.
Yes. It runs in a mobile browser with no app install. Stations are designed to be finishable in a short session, which is the case it was built for: studying in the gaps of a working day.
The Glow Labs covers Biochemistry in 12 stations. Academy Grounds covers Biology in 21 stations. Atomic Conservatory covers Chemistry in 16 stations. Synthesis Market covers Organic Chemistry in 14 stations. The Prism Works covers Physics in 13 stations. Heartside Commons covers Psychology / Sociology in 18 stations. World Hub covers Math + Reasoning in 3 stations. Three additional wings inside the World Hub cover CARS (Passage Palace), math and unit conversion (Equation Row), and reading scientific figures (The Research Bench).
No. Progress is permanent by design, including across game updates. Mastery you have earned at a station stays earned.
